Weather-Dependent Considerations: One of the significant challenges of outdoor weddings is the unpredictability of weather. While a sunny day can create a magical setting, unexpected rain or extreme temperatures can pose logistical challenges and require backup plans. We always have a plan B though, and can move any wedding under cover swiftly with our trained staff. Out of the 200 weddings we had this last year, only 2 of them were moved inside.
Logistical Considerations: Ordinarily, outdoor weddings may require additional logistical planning, such as securing permits, renting portable restrooms, and addressing potential challenges like uneven terrain. At the Empress, however, couples do not have to invest time and effort into coordinating these details since we have the permits for ourdoor weddings, we have indoor bathrooms, and we have ADA approved ramps to each outdoor location.
