The snow has created a gorgeous white oasis at The Empress Estate. It certainly is a snowy escape! During these snowy and icy conditions we hope everyone is enjoying time with their family at home. What is there to do while trapped at home? The Empress Estate has a few suggestions! The snow can provide us with some much needed quality time with family and friends away from the hussle and bussle of the work week, technology, and our normal day-to-day responsibilities.
The Empress Estate suggests turning off the television and sitting down to play a board game! Enjoy one another's company. Want to play outside? Take a sled (or garbage can lid) and find some slippery slopes in the neighborhood to slide down, or have a family snow ball fight! Just make sure to wear gloves to keep those fingers nice and warm. Then afterwards, sit down to a nice warm fire as a family and enjoy a hot chocolate bar complete with candy cane stirring sticks, and marshmallows. Want to stay indoors? Curl up with a nice warm blanket, a cup of tea, and read a book!
We hope these snow days are providing much needed family time at home for everyone. So rest, relax, and soak it all in!
